Melt & Pour Easter Soaps For Kids

My girls love to craft and create things and one of the things my oldest started doing last year was making soap. This is one of those things that’s so fun for kids and almost inspires them to actually wash their hands as often as they can!

Melt & Pour Easter Soaps For Kids

SUPPLIES NEEDED
4-count oval shaped soap or candy mold (3 inch molds or larger)
Clear melt and pour soap base (glycerin will work)
Easter themed pencil erasers
1 wooden craft stick or tooth pick
Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle

DIRECTIONS
1. The melt and pour soap usually comes in a block with cubes that can be easily cut out. Cut out 2 cubes and place in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 20 seconds and stir with a toothpick or wooden craft stick.

2. Pour a little bit of the melted soap into the bottom of each mold, just enough to cover the bottom. If there are any bubbles after pouring the soap, spray the bubbles with the rubbing alcohol and they will disappear.

3. Lay 2 Easter erasers face down into the melted soap.

4. Place 4 cubes of the melt and pour soap into a microwave safe bowl. (If you have a large glass Pyrex measuring cup, that would be perfect). Microwave for 30 seconds or until completely melted. Stir with a toothpick or craft stick.

5. Divide the melted soap between 2 molds and fill to the top, covering the erasers completely. If there are any bubbles, spray with the rubbing alcohol until they are gone.

6. Repeat step 4 and 5 with the remaining 2 molds and place in the freezer for 30 minutes.

7. Gently release the soap bars from their molds and ENJOY!
