good quickstyle I am a busy mom of three girls. Each of our girls dance at a local dance studio all week and we are a very active family. We enjoy doing things together and when it comes to my girls I enjoy creating things for them.

Goody® Quikstyle and Tanglefix hairbrushes make doing my girls hair so easy. Whether their hair is wet in the morning and we use the Quikstyle to dry and brush their hair for a quick braid. The Goody® Tanglefix is a great go to brush. They can throw them in their backpacks for easy use at school, or in their dance bags to use at the studio. The Tanglefix brush is easy to use and is easy to grip in their little hands.

goody hairstyles for girlsRight now at Walgreen’s when you use your Walgreens Balance Rewards card you can buy one get one free on select Goody® products. We stocked up on extras like hair ties but the offer is also good on all brushes which includes the Quikstyle and Tanglefix hairbrushes. Goody also has easy tutorials and how-to’s so I can make their hair look great too. You can get your BOGO deal on Goody products while supplies last!

To get ready for Halloween and our dance studio’s annual pumpkin patch dance festival we needed some cute hair bows for the big performance. halloween hair bow

What You Need:

  • Hot Glue – Hot Glue Gun
  • 20 Inch Strips of Ribbon
  • small string
  • Metal clips
  • 1 inch small ribbon cut into 4 inch long pieces
  • spiders found in the craft store

To start you will twist the larger ribbon and tie it in the center with small string.  Tie the smaller ribbon because that will wrap over the front of the hair bow and secure the bow to the metal clip.

After the small string is ties around the larger ribbon you can hot glue the small ribbon around the metal clip securing it on the clip. The secure a spider onto the front of the hair bow.

These large bows are a favorite for my girls and they looked so cute for the Halloween dance performance. One of the things I enjoy about dance is getting to spend time with my girls. Whether it’s shopping for costumes and the things they need or getting ready for class. It’s all worth it when I see them so proud of their achievements. Whether it’s ballet, lyrical, or tumbling I’m really enjoying watching my little ladies happy is all that matters. doing hairhair bow

Having little girls is so much fun but doing their hair can be hard. I’m enjoying coming up with new ideas and trying new things. Hair bows always make hairstyles easy and add a little personality too!

If I attempted to do anything with my niece’s hair, she’d end up with short hair. I’d rip it all out!

  41. Ben @ Cheap is the New Classy says

    10/13/2014 at 1:02 pm

This is a great tutorial… which I will pass on to the “hair doer” in the house. If I tried that, my niece’s hair would be all over the floor…
