I am a busy mom of three girls. Each of our girls dance at a local dance studio all week and we are a very active family. We enjoy doing things together and when it comes to my girls I enjoy creating things for them.
Goody® Quikstyle and Tanglefix hairbrushes make doing my girls hair so easy. Whether their hair is wet in the morning and we use the Quikstyle to dry and brush their hair for a quick braid. The Goody® Tanglefix is a great go to brush. They can throw them in their backpacks for easy use at school, or in their dance bags to use at the studio. The Tanglefix brush is easy to use and is easy to grip in their little hands.
Right now at Walgreen’s when you use your Walgreens Balance Rewards card you can buy one get one free on select Goody® products. We stocked up on extras like hair ties but the offer is also good on all brushes which includes the Quikstyle and Tanglefix hairbrushes. Goody also has easy tutorials and how-to’s so I can make their hair look great too. You can get your BOGO deal on Goody products while supplies last!
To get ready for Halloween and our dance studio’s annual pumpkin patch dance festival we needed some cute hair bows for the big performance.
What You Need:
- Hot Glue – Hot Glue Gun
- 20 Inch Strips of Ribbon
- small string
- Metal clips
- 1 inch small ribbon cut into 4 inch long pieces
- spiders found in the craft store
To start you will twist the larger ribbon and tie it in the center with small string. Tie the smaller ribbon because that will wrap over the front of the hair bow and secure the bow to the metal clip.
After the small string is ties around the larger ribbon you can hot glue the small ribbon around the metal clip securing it on the clip. The secure a spider onto the front of the hair bow.
These large bows are a favorite for my girls and they looked so cute for the Halloween dance performance. One of the things I enjoy about dance is getting to spend time with my girls. Whether it’s shopping for costumes and the things they need or getting ready for class. It’s all worth it when I see them so proud of their achievements. Whether it’s ballet, lyrical, or tumbling I’m really enjoying watching my little ladies happy is all that matters.
Having little girls is so much fun but doing their hair can be hard. I’m enjoying coming up with new ideas and trying new things. Hair bows always make hairstyles easy and add a little personality too!

Such a cute and simple way to fix their hair for Halloween. I may have to do this for my daughter, if she will let me put her hair up. She hates wearing her hair up. lol

I have a whole bunch of plastic spiders, this would be a great thing to do for kiddo. She might tell me shes too old for bows though. She’s 9 going on 15.
When my daughter was younger i always did french braids. It was a quick way to be sure her hair would be out of her face all day. I love these Halloween bows they are so cute and easy to make.
The tangleflex brush looks so cool! I will have to look for it at the store. Sarah’s hair is soooo thick it gets tangled extremely easy! Love the spiders as the bow centers!
Those bows are adorable. I bet I could make a few of those!
Pinned your hair bow to my Halloween board. Perfect project for Isa and I this Saturday.

I love this hair bow. What a fun way for a little girl to decorate her hair for Halloween.
My daughter has hair down to her bum, so the only hairstyle she “has time” for is a pony. I love those bows.
Me too. They’re adorable.
I’d have to omit the spider, but these bows are adorable. I’ll have to make some for my daughter.
I’ve always thought hair bows like that were so cute. I used to make them for my daughter too. 🙂 Love your spider ones!

What an adorable hair bow. I love the spider!
What a cute bow! I do a simple braid or ponytail for my daughter.
Shae has short hair so the most we do is a headband. you gave me some ideas for halloween themed crafts though
If I attempted to do anything with my niece’s hair, she’d end up with short hair. I’d rip it all out!
This is a great tutorial… which I will pass on to the “hair doer” in the house. If I tried that, my niece’s hair would be all over the floor…
Those are super cute!. Love that they are homemade too!
Have I seen this at CVS? My nieces love when I share this type of info with them! Thanks!
That is just darling. I’m the worst at doing my daughter’s hair but could certainly make a bow for her ponytail. 🙂 We love Halloween anything around here!
Those hair bows are so cute. My niece would love that.
My daughter would run screaming if I tried to put that in her hair. She is deathly afraid of spiders.
This is such a cute bow and great for Halloween. I still use Goody hair products myself.
This is super cute. I used a lot of Goody hair accessories for crazy hair days growing up!
This bow looks adorable! It seems simple, and is great for Halloween. I would love to make this for my daughter.
