We were thrilled to be invited to the premiere of Klaus. This is the new Christmas movie is one that I am calling a must see with your family this year and every year after. Klaus is a brand new animated 2D film and it’s the first featured animated film from Netflix.

Before I get into the story of the movie I wanted to touch on just how beautiful this film is. The animation reminds me of all my favorite animated films from the past and the music for the movie is just as captivating. I really am such a fan of that hand drawn traditional animation. Knowing the time and artistry it took to bring this movie to life makes the storyline really come to life. The director Sergio Pablos talks about picking up animation from the techniques where they last left off in the 1990’s.

Klaus is a movie about Christmas and how it all began. It’s a movie filled with adventure, friendship and the true heart of Christmas, kindness.
A simple act of kindness always sparks another. – Klaus

The story starts with a postman and his quest to establish a post office which in turn he ends up delivering joy to a cold, dark town that desperately needs it.
It’s really no better time for a story like this. One that unites us all and brings us together. I don’t want to give anything away but I think you’ll feel the same way after seeing the movie.

During the premiere we actually got a sneak peek at the town of Smeerensburg. We got to make Christmas ornaments and spend time making some fun memories on the white carpet before the movie.

We also got to see a performance of the new song “Invisible” by Zara Larsson for the movie. My girls are already asking to download it and listen to this song over and over again.

When I think about all of holidays we have had as a family over the years I always look back to simple moments. My favorite moments really are watching heartwarming movies with my family, baking sweet treats and just spending time with my girls. I know I’e said it but ‘ll say it again, we can’t wait to watch Klaus again and again!
You can catch Klaus on Netflix November 15th, 2019!
I really want to see Klaus! That’s a good Christmas movie. Hope to see it soon with the family!
