We love our Orange County neighborhood. Our kids live close by their school and we live on a cul-de-sac and our girls are friends with all of our neighbors. In fact, between all the four houses, there’s always bikes, trikes and toys all between our yards. - Set A Timer – It’s essential our girls set a timer and keep it where they can hear it. When the timer goes off they are to come inside and check in, we reapply sunscreen as needed and make sure we stay hydrated.

- Snacks on Deck – I swear by a simple snack station in the fridge with yogurts, string cheese and fruits. I also make small bags of pretzels and snacks for easy grab and go. I find that when kids have options that are easily organized they’re able to do more on their own.
We use sunblock daily and especially before school. Our kids do spend a lot of time outside so sunblock is a part of our routine.
