Ploey: You Never Fly Alonethe animated tale of a little plover chicken named Ploey. He doesn’t learn to fly by the time the rest of his family and friends are ready to fly south for winter. Being left behind by the flock he has to learn how to survive winter and also how to learn to fly.

We thought the move was just perfect for little chicks who will leave the theater inspired to believe in themselves. It’s a story of loss and love and will leave the whole family smiling from ear to ear. I admit the film resonated well with me having lost my father as a child. The theme of the movie is all about not giving up and learning to love. This heartwarming tale was fun for our whole family and we think it’s one yours will enjoy too!

Check out this trailer for the movie:

As a family we’ve gotten to experience so many fun things together. I have to say the premiere for Ploey: You Never Fly Alone was one of the most fun things we have gotten to do together this year.

We started out the day by earning our wings and enjoying our family’s first flight together at iFly. The indoor skydiving lessons were the perfect way to get introduced to the film. Our girls loved the flight experience and were left feeling so excited that they got to experience what it’s like to fly.  Going through something scary and exhilarating as a family really does bring you together and it was the perfect experience to have before we saw the movie.

I really love movies that aim to teach my children either something about themselves or the world in which we live in. This movie does exactly that and the flying experience prior to the movie really was another great way to teach or children something about themselves. They easily related what they learned during the day to the film and we couldn’t be happier with all the fun we had.

You can catch he movie exclusively on DIRECTV for the next month then after it will be released for streaming. I have to say it’s a heartwarming tale that’s just perfect for the family this spring.
