FEATURED Fun Foods for Families Uncategorized

This post is sponsored in partnership with Dole Package Foods. All opinions are my own.

As we head into a New Year I have to say the one thing I am hoping for is just getting to spend more time watching my girls grow up. 2018 was a harder year for our family so we are excited and optimistic about the possibilities of a new year.

We are having a fun get together for the new year to ring in the new possibility and this year I’m over stressing the details. I like simple and this dessert idea is one everyone will enjoy and one that is so easy to make. Just 10 minutes to prep and you can easily bake this sunshine loaf cake from Dole.

We decided to make this delicious and easy recipe for our celebration and I have to say it was a big hit with everyone!

Just after baking for 50 minutes I let it cool then sprinkled with the delicious simple frosting. I have to say this is so moist and bright it tastes like endless possibility and summer! 🙂

This recipe was created for Dole by Chef Jamie Gwen and I have to say it’s so easy and delicious it’s the perfect dessert for a quick party!

It’s all about coming together this season and celebrating as a family!

This week we were so excited to actually get to join Dole at the float barn to see their Rose Parade float come alive. The Rhythm of Paradise which is the name of Dole’s Rose Parade float showcases the respect the Hawaiian people have for their land, ocean life and traditions.

We can’t wait to share more over the coming weeks and you can learn more and get more delicious recipes at DoleSunshine.com. Be sure to join us on Facebook live on January 1st as we watch the parade live with Dole!
