What I love about my kids is that it doesn’t take a whole lot to impress them. Kids in general are this way so it makes doing simple things more fun when I know how much my girls get a kick out of it. We love putting fun twists on simple things and even the peanut butter and jelly sandwich is a favorite around here. We always buy Jif and Smucker’s products and this idea is just a fun Halloween themed idea you can do for your kids.
As you can see all it took was shaping the bread to turn it into a coffin. The extra strawberry jam is just perfect for little hands to garb and go. We actually enjoyed these after school with a fun Halloween themed movie. It was such an enjoyable afternoon. These are the simple moments I love with my girls.
I can also see myself adding this to their lunch boxes as we get closer to Halloween as well.
You can add in your own details to the front of the sandwiches as well making it more spooky if you like.
What are some of your favorite simple after school snacks?
