Fun Foods for Families Giveaways Uncategorized

I participated in Mom Blog Tour Natural Products Expo West (#MomBlogTourFF) on behalf of Wendy’s Bloggers. I received Crown Maple products to facilitate my review, but my opinions and creative content are my own.

When it comes to my philosophy as  mom it always comes back to what’s best for my kids. The same goes for how I feed my family and by always wanting the best all natural products for them I can feel like I’m really doing best by them. That doesn’t mean they have to miss out of the ordinary things. Like a warm brownie enjoyed with our girls on a week night. That kind of dessert is a treat and something that’s always a delight.

Crown Maple is one of those companies I know I can feel good about. Not only is their product all natural but it also tastes great too. Most people don’t realize but maple syrup is a wonderful all natural sweetener made from ingredients your body can process. Personally we are trying to move towards more all natural sweeteners for our girls. They enjoy oatmeal in the morning so we are finding Crown Maple a delicious addition to our ordinary morning routines. It’s also great as a sweetener in desserts.

Maple Avocado Brownies Recipe

1 large ripe avocado
¼ cup coconut oil
1 large egg
½ cup pure Crown Maple syrup
1 tsp. pure vanilla
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ tsp. sea salt
¼ cup flour
⅓ cup chocolate chips

I like to keep things simple when it comes to recipes. So just blend your ingredients together and bake in a pan that has been lightly greased with coconut oil. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.

These brownies are so soft and sweet. They’re the perfect weeknight treat to make with your family.
