My girls love gymnastics and tumbling. It’s really all about just getting active and having fun so our girls were thrilled to get to take classes at The Little Gym. Getting active with The Little Gym is easy and we were able to find a class right in our community to try out. Living in Southern California it’s nice to know there are many convenient The Little Gym locations to find one in your neighborhood just visit their website.
My girls have been in dance and gymnastics since they could just walk so they were excited to try out the gymnastics classes at The Little Gym. They also have a variety of other classes like Parent/Child classes, Gymnastics, Dance, and Sports Prep. (class options vary by location)
Just check out this video of all the fun our girls had at The Little Gym –
My girls are very active but they also love gymnastics. I liked that The Little Gym not only incorporated the technical gymnastics skills but also added in additional elements like building self-confidence. The week’s theme was “Not Giving Up” I think it’s an important lesson in teaching kids to keep going. The best lesson my girls have learned from gymnastics are the lessons they’ve learned themselves. It’s all about working hard at something and failing a lot to finally get something right, and when my girls finally nail that skills they’ve worked on their pride in themselves is what matters.
The Little Gym actually has their own philosophy called Three-Dimensional Learning,. They actually believe the same that physical activity is helpful for nurturing your whole child. The Three-Dimensional Learning approach also means that each classes teaches three things—Brain Boost!, Get Moving! and Citizen Kid! Lets face it kids need to move, learning to control their bodies, listen to instructions and work in a group are all skills kids build on all while also growing confidence.
Our youngest daughter Mia has always bene inspired by her big sister Brooklin. Brooklin loves to tumble and is really having a lot of fun learning gymnastics. She also got to try a class at The Little Gym. We recently moved so it’s been an adjustment for her. She has=d so much fun in class that after the class on the way home she drew a photo of her on the bars with words that said “I had so much fun. I met friends tonight.” Being eight years old I just loved seeing her easily have so much fun and fit right in. In fact she then asked if she can see going back.
For my girls it’s really all about building their confidence and encouraging them to do the things that bring them happiness. You can learn more about The Little Gym and find a class near you.
I wish I had a chance to take gym as a child I was really into cartwheels and flipping. I think this literal Little Gym is adorable!
So many options for kids and parents these days. Little Gym was great and all around. Check them out if you can!
Both of my daughters love gymnastics! This looks like a great place to take classes!
My girls loved it, many choices and classes for all interests!
I wish they had something like this when my children were little. It would have helped so much for them to have a place like this to burn off the excess sugar. haha. When my grandchildren get to be a little older, I will take them to the Little Gym.
Yep, easy and indoors for those of us in hot climates and summer is hot anywhere!
My nephew goes to the little gym. Love to hear how excited he gets about this time there. Plus it helps burn off some energy.
Was more fun than just a class. Kids had fun while learning technique.
This sounds so fun for kids! What a fun way to spend summer and be active!
Exactly! Fun and indoors.
It sounds like they’ve put a lot of thought into what they’re teaching. I’m sure it’s a wonderful place for children to go!
So cute! My girls would love little gym. They often ask if they can start doing different things, so its something to consider!
We took our son there for a couple of years straight when he was young. It was such a great learning experience for him.
Great for boys and girls, great to let them have fun and build skills.
How adorable! My kids are always asking if they can join gymnastics too!
Check them out if in your area, they have sign up incentives.
I have never heard about the Little Gym but this brings back memories of my daughter at her gymnastics class we went to way back. It is a great activity for kids and they get the exercise and skills
My kids have gone to the Little Gym a few times here in NJ. It’s a great program!
Seem to be all over and fun for all styles of dance and gym.
Little Gym sounds like a great way to keep the kids active and interested in health. My son really loves to play soccer.
Both of my boys did classes there from the time they were 6 months old until they went off to preschool. We loved it there.
