We love to spend time outside and it’s important for us to do so. Our girls also love to be outdoors. We like to travel and see new places, it’s really all about exploring the planet. We want to teach our girls to appreciate this earth too. We do that by teaching them about sustainability and recycling. They pick up garbage and turn off the water. It’s all about the little things we do every day.

I’m all about inspiring my girls. I like books and activities that enrich their lives. We were just introduced to a new book series The Adventures of Camellia N. Under The Sea which aims to inspire kids to become global ambassadors to the planet. Learning about new places, spices, animals, it’s all about teaching our kids about the planet and that we’re not the only ones that call earth home. There is an entire series of books but this one features Camellia’s nightly dreams that take her on adventures to all seven continents.

In the book she learns about and gains appreciation for the environment surrounding her and learns there is beauty in all places. This book features the world under the sea, which I must say is one of our favorite places to explore. Living in California we have a deep appreciation and love for our ocean so we do what we can locally to help preserve it. This book is a must read for my girls!
