FEATURED Fun Foods for Families Holiday Recipes Uncategorized

I’ve been searching for an easy and fun activity to do with the girls in our Girl Scout troop. All  kids enjoy fun foods and it’s just always fun to create fun things so why not spend time cooking in the kitchen.

My husband always comes up with fun ways to give our girls treats so we wanted to test this recipe that we plan on remaking for our Girl Scout Christmas troop meeting. Being that I am also the classroom mom in my daughters class this may even be something fun that all the kids can do.

Marshmallow Hot Cocoa Cups

What You Need

  • Large Marshmallows
  • Milk Chocolate for melting
  • mini marshmallows
  • small candy canes
  • hot cocoa mix

We just used the largest marshmallows that we could find. Then the mini candy cane just went right in. Then heat up the chocolate using the double broiler method.  Dip the top of the marshmallow in the chocolate.

Topping each one with a dusting of mini marshmallows and hot cocoa power.

These are so much fun and so easy to make. They were such a big hit with our girls!

These are really cute cups! I know my three kiddos would be so enthused to create them.
