We are happy to partner with Therapedic International on this post.
We all knows someone who works really hard, or maybe they’ve worked hard for most of their lives and now they often complain about how bad their feet hurt. I know several family members like this. When I often think about gift ideas I always want to give someone something that they can actually find useful, or meaningful.
That’s why this year I’m gifting Grandma this Therapedic® Comfortcore™ Cushioned Kitchen Mat and our own homemade foot scrub. I know it’s a gift she will appreciate and actually use. One of the best gifts to give are homemade thoughtful gifts. A lot of our older family members who we buy gifts for already have everything they need so we try to think outside of the box and buy things they may not think of but that we find useful. Like this memory foam kitchen mat from Therapedic International. I’ve had one in my kitchen and often get compliments once people stand on it, they always ask where I got it from. I know how comfortable they are and know it will be beneficial for using in the kitchen.
It’s always great to let the kids get involved too. Having girls they love to be hands on and making crafts and diy projects is fun for them.
DIY Peppermint Foot Scrub
- 2 cups of epsom salt
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candy canes
- 1/4 cup of oil
- 5 drops of peppermint essential oil
This is just fun for kids to make and since my girls love to use their hands they really do enjoy creating homemade gifts. We put them in simple mason jars and added bows and ribbon. It’s a soothing fit scrub that’s great for the dry cracked skin of winter.
