We are happy to partner with SmartGurlz™ on this post, all opinions are our own.

Having three girls it’s important to us that our girls are learning and experiencing all that they can. We visit museums and hike in national parks. We enroll our kids in arts and technology classes after school so that they can learn all they can. It’s time that toys started to get smarter too and that’s exactly why my girls were so excited with Smart Gurlz.

Smart Gurlz is an easy way to continue to build on those coding skills that our girls are already learning at school and in their activities. Girls use the SmartGurlz™ SugarCoded™ app which teaches girls how to code by providing lively coding assignments, stories and missions. More than 100+ coding combinations. The SmartGurlz™ Siggy Robot is also compatible with most 11′ inch dolls but each one comes with a doll and there are many different choices for girls. SmartGurlz™ is a line of friendly self-balancing robots and action dolls that engage and encourage girls to learn to code. Connected via smartphone or tablet, SmartGurlz™ allows girls 6 and up to immerse themselves in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

Our girls enjoyed playing with the app. and we found that our eight year old was solving puzzles and was actually able to build a code that worked extremely well. She found it challenging and engaging and still continues to play with her SmartGurlz™ robot.

My daughter liked that it wasn’t just a doll that you can control with an app, she likes the puzzles and being able to code the different steps and then see it in action.

This holiday season when you’re looking for a great gift idea for girls, add SmartGurlz™ under the tree. Your girls will enjoy it as much as mine have!

This sounds so cool and great to help kids learn how to code. I would love to have this for my daughter to help her learn!

That looks like such a great app for your girls. Wish I’d had something like this growing up, but computers weren’t even invented.
