We were happy to partner with Warner Bros and attend this event for the The LEGO NINJAGO Movie. All opinions are our own.

Our girls are big fans of LEGO. I thank my husband for that and so we were so excited to see the new LEGO NINJAGO Movie. In this movie they battle for NINJAGO City. The young Master Builder Lloyd, aka the Green Ninja, along with his friends must defeat evil warlord Garmadon. The Worst Guy Ever, who also happens to be Lloyd’s dad. That puts father and son against each other and in the end the ninjas have to unleash their inner powers. It was a great lesson in our kids learning to look within themselves for the things that they are strong in. There’s great lessons in the movie and yet it’s still funny and packed for of adventure!

The LEGO NINJAGO Movie stars Dave Franco, Justin Theroux, Fred Armisen, Abbi Jacobson, Olivia Munn, Kumail Nanjiani, Michael Peña, Zach Woods, and the legendary Jackie Chan. The movie is in theaters September 22, which means you can head to the theaters now with your family!! lego movie cast

We have to say we loved the movie. It was fun throughout and our girls had a blast. We’re all big fans of Lloyd and think your family will have fun seeing this movie too. It’s in theaters now so go check it out! We actually got to meet the cast during the press conference and really enjoyed hearing from them.

Jackie Chan talked about the connection between the earth and martial arts. I really feel like this movie stayed true to martial arts while still teaching a valuable life lesson and he expressed the same. We also got to hear from Dave Franco and found out how fun it was to lay Lloyd. You can actually listen to the press conference below and hear all the fun for yourself!

We have always wanted to stay at the LEGOLAND Hotel here in Southern California and for this trip we actually got to stay at the hotel. Our room was pirate themed and there was an adventure the kids could go on to unlock the treasure chest in our room.

The girls got to sleep in their own pirate themed bunk beds. Even our bathroom had the theme!!

We started right into the LEGO fun with a session that included hearing from one of eight LEGO Master Builders. Our girls got to see sets form the movie and even build their own additions to add to the city. Our girls build a playground so all the kids would have a slide to play on. I thought it was a sweet addition and perfectly describes the personality of my youngest who is always so caring for others. Our room at the LEGOLAND Hotel was quite fun and before we headed to the movie we hit the pool for a little fun. At night we headed to see the movie. I have to say it was fun for our whole family. Everyone loved the movie, I even saw my husband laughing.

After the movie we headed to an after party where the girls got to build min figures, play the LEGO NINJAGO Movie Video Game and get their characters drawn. It was loads of fun we have a video from the party at the bottom of this post s be sure to check it out! We headed off to bed at the LEGOLAND Hotel. We got to wake up and actually practice Ninyoga before heading to the press conference for the movie. This was just another fun part of the trip that everyone in our family enjoyed. Especially my little gymnast. kids doing yogaWe also got to spend the rest fo the time at LEGOLAND riding rides for the day. It was such a fun trip and the event was loads of fun.
