We were so excited to be invited to an event at The Greek Theater here in Los Angeles with Disney to celebrate The Lion King Sing Along. The Lion King was by far one of the movies that defined my childhood. Right before I lost my own dad was the same time The Lion King was originally in theaters. I was only 9 at the time but I was already such a big Disney Princess fan that I fell in love with the relatable storyline. It’s fun to get to experience the movie with my own children all these years later.
My girls already knew of Simba and his friends so right away they loved meeting the friendly faces. Our girls got the faces painted and then they got to eat some delicious kid friendly food. There were also other activities like bracelet making and there were even crowns.
The Greek Theater is a really gorgeous space, located outside nestled between cliffs the venue was perfect. Introducing the movie was the most incredible performance from the opening song, and our family had the best time.
Check out our vlog where we share all the fun we had!!
