I enjoy working out, in fact it’s some of my favorite times that I get to myself. Going to the gym and working out with my personal trainer is something I do for myself, and I’m learning that it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done and yet somehow also the most rewarding. No one else can put in the work but me and that’s really the best feeling. I’m learning a lot with training and I’m actually working towards my goals in an exciting new way. workout circuit for womenI’m also learning to live in a constant state of soreness. That means also learning how to cope with being sore and how to help my body heal. My trainer reminds me that the muscles heal with proper nutrition and rest and after you heal is when you become stronger. That’s really important in understanding how to help your body recover after working out and I have three things I always try to remember.

3 Simple Tips For Coping With Muscle Soreness

  1. Cool Down – It’s important to have a cool down phase after you work out. Even if it’s just walking on a treadmill. I learned this early on when I started to workout with a personal trainer. Properly warming your muscles up and cooling down is the first thing you should know about working out or lifting weights.
  2. Stretch – People really don’t stretch enough. Even bodybuilders need to properly stretch, it really does help alleviate soreness.
  3. Use Products To Help – I like simple products like PROCure products. Their Epsom Salt Rub helps to improve recovery by allowing you to apply the trusted remedy of Epsom Salt directly where it hurts most – without a bath.

Also another great product is the Bruise Remedy which also uses a natural healing to soothe bruises. benefits of epsom salt

I take a long bath with a lot of epsom salts dissolved in the water. I feel so much better afterwards.
