I am participating in Influence Central’s Ambassador program on behalf of Claritin®. This program is paid for by the Makers of Claritin® and I have received compensation for my participation. All opinions expressed are my own.

As the flowers start to bloom each year, we deal with seasonal allergies with our little ones. We spend a lot of time outdoors hiking and exploring our local mountains.  Often times allergies and cold symptoms can seem alike, so it’s important to know what is happening when it comes to our kids.

The Smart Allergy Mom™ Toolkit is a resource to help moms start a discussion with their children’s Pediatrician. What I like about the Smart Allergy Mom™ Toolkit is that you can actually see how high the pollen count is with their allergy forecast tool. You’ll also find helpful information and some easy ways to talk with your doctor about your children’s allergy symptoms. You’ll have the right questions to ask your children’s doctor so you can help your children find relief. The Smart Allergy Mom™ Toolkit is brought to you by the makers of Children’s Claritin®.

I know when my girls are having seasonal allergies because they start sneezing and their eyes are watery and their little noses don’t stop running.  I also know that every spring as the flowers around our home start to bloom, our younger kiddos get seasonal allergies. My girls take Children’s Claritin® as soon as their seasonal allergy symptoms start. Children’s Claritin® is the only brand that provides 24-hour, non-drowsy allergy relief products (among Oral OTC Children’s Brands), and it is the #1 Pediatrician recommended non-drowsy oral allergy brand for kids 2+.

Just last week during spring break we took a hike in our local mountain, and two miles later we found a fresh waterfall and creek that was just perfect to play in. What’s funny is that I also suffer form seasonal allergies so I find that after a day of hiking in the mountains with my kiddos that they’re just as sneezy as I am – but that doesn’t seem to slow down their sense of adventure. Here in Southern California not only do we have record wildflower blooms but the abundance of water has also filled up the local waterfalls and creeks. It’s the perfect time of year to get out and explore!

Helping our children manage their seasonal allergies with the  Smart Allergy Mom™ Toolkit is easy. You can find more information on their website.
