Palm Springs Family Friendly Resorts – Renaissance Indian Wells Resort and Spa

You are here: Home / Family Travel With Kids / Palm Springs Family Friendly Resorts – Renaissance Indian Wells Resort and Spa

Family Travel With Kids

We were hosted at the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort and Spa all opinions are our own.

Located just 100 miles from Los Angeles is Palm Springs, most notable for it’s high heat and luxury resorts and spas. We always enjoy traveling and it’s even better when you can drive and stay close to home. In fact, we prefer to travel and stay closer to home. It allows our family to not only travel more frequently but we can also explore destinations that feel like a world away. We always love exploring the desert and we were thrilled to head to Renaissance Indian Wells Resort and Spa for a weekend getaway.

The Renaissance Indian Wells Resort and Spa is an oasis in the middle of the desert. Their gorgeous hotel and spa not only has breathtaking views but also has a wide variety of activities for the family.

Our room was spacious and luxurious and had a balcony that overlooked the resort. There was plenty of space for our family of five and I had a desk so I could also get some work done while we were away.

I am really big on bathrooms especially when we travel away form home. The Renaissance Indian Wells Resort and Spa didn’t disappoint with an equally nice bathroom and even a large closet space in our room.

There are several restraints and bars located at the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort and Spa. We literally did not leave for the days we stayed there because everything your family needs for an incredible vacation is located right at the resort. The pool has a sand entry and it’s quite massive. Our kids loved the pool and we spent a lot of time by the pool.

Of course if you’re planning on hitting a pool a cabana rental in a must. You can rent a cabana with everything you need for a day of sun and fun at the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort and Spa.

There was a cooler with everything we needed to stay refreshed.

Of course we also ordered drinks and food poolside and there was a menu that pleased the entire family.

The food was plentiful and we spent our afternoon enjoying the pool.

I have to say that by the pool it was really nice to have that cabana space to relax in. We literally felt like we were on an island far from home and yet we were within an hours drive.

At night there are also plenty for parents to do. We were able to drop our girls off at Camp Oasis.

There were so many fun activities for kids at Camp Oasis. If you ask my girls besides the pool of course, this was their favorite part of our trip.

Painting ceramics, glitter tattoo, arts and crafts and our girls even made fun flower crowns.

While our girls were in Camp Oasis my husband and I went to the spa for a couples massage and then to dinner and had a few drinks and then just relaxed outside. It was nice to have a date night and just enjoy some time together. The spa was truly incredible, it was a wonderful experience to have with my husband and one of the best ways to end our weekend getaway to the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort and Spa.

In the morning we went to breakfast and I have to say the food at the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort and Spa is so delicious. There’s something for everyone on the menu and there’s even an all you can eat breakfast buffet which is always a favorite of our kiddos. We spent a lot of time enjoying the pool at the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort and Spa. The rooms, the pool, the amazing spa.
