Healthy Family Lifestyle

This is a sponsored post with L’il Critters™ for which I have received free product and/or compensation, but the opinions are 100% my own.

Raising healthy and strong kids means a lot to us and so we try to model that in not only eating healthy but also staying active. With our girls out on spring break the last few weeks we had some extra time to go camping. We discovered some really spectacular hikes within driving distance and wanted to do them as a family. Usually throughout our week our girls are busy with their own activities and I spend most of my mornings at our local gym but we always try to spend weekends being active. Not only do we reserve weekends for family time but we really do try to be active on those days, spending the time to explore new places and learn new things. Some of our best moments have been simple moments like our hike to Stonewall Peak near San Diego last week.
I remember all the things my daughters once thought they could never do. When our middle struggled with something in gymnastics and yet determined she was able to overcome every obstacle she has faced. The same thing happened with this hike, it was a 900 foot elevation gain to the peak and 3.8 miles round trip hike. Having a four year old we knew the hike might take some time so we took it slow and steady making pace when the trail was flat.We reached the peak and everyone felt so much relief and also we were able to set a goal and reach it. The peak was high up on the rocks, it was windy so you got the full effect of being high up above it all. Off to one side was San Diego off to the other side Mexico and each of our girls took in their achievement of making it to the top. It’s one of the things I enjoy most about hiking with my family, the sense of accomplishment that we all have at the end of the trail.

L’il Critters™ gummy vitamins help us to establish healthy habits with our girls and can help to provide essential vitamins their active bodies need, plus they taste great. If only more parents raise their kids the way you do. Kids who exercise are less likely to be anxious or depressed or stressed. They are more likely to excel at academics, including their ability to concentrate and focus their attention in the classroom. They build up strength, endurance, healthy muscles and bones through regular fitness. It’s recommended that school-aged children are physically active for at least one hour per day.

My nieces enjoy all water sports and these vitamins would be perfect for them.

It’s important that we supply them with the nutrition that they need daily. However, sometimes food is not enough and it’s good to have supplements like that from L’il Critters to help out.

It’s so important to set an example for our kids. My kids and I are always outside and riding our bikes, and my kids love it! I need to get them Lil Critters for them.

I am glad that vitamins now come in the form of gummies. It makes it a lot better to make kids take their vitamins. When my kids were growing up, vitamins were always in liquid preparations and you know how that tastes! It was a daily struggle! My grandchildren are so lucky to have things easy now.

Setting a good example is super important for our kids. This is a great brand for kids when it comes to vitamins. Thanks for sharing.

We love to go biking and hiking, as my daughter calls it. She rides her bike around the block and my husband and I walk. It gets us out of the house.

I’ve never heard of this brand. However, I know that my kids would eat anything gummy.

I remember having to take vitamins when I was younger. They were definitely not so easy to eat. Lucky kids!

When the kids were young, I made sure they had lots of outdoor play. I enrolled them in sports clinics (of course, the kind they like). My sons loved baseball so I showed them my full support in their chosen sport. My daughter loved dance and she got dance lessons too. As long as they stay active, regardless of the sport.

It is so important to get kids outside, especially in this day and age with screen time seems to be #1. Gummy vitamins are also a fun way to get kids to enjoy taking vitamins because they look and taste great !

We love Little Critters! The only way I can get my kids to take vitamins willingly. We love staying active by riding scooters and going to the park.

I bet the view on that hike was great. I remember when gummy vitamins first came out, I ate some myself because they were just so much more pleasant than traditional vitamins.

We put our daughter into sporting events like soccer and basketball when she was growing up. We wanted to promote a healthy lifestyle with her, just as you are trying to do with yours. She was never really a sports addict, so it was tough. She did learn to keep herself into shape though.

We use Lil’ Critters because the kids will actually take them and not complain. We’re all about exploring nature too!
