When I was little every year on Christmas Eve the kids in the family would all get pajamas. There was something so special about falling asleep in cozy new pajamas and I remember falling asleep filled with so much excitement for the following day. How cute! The holidays were always a really big deal to my mom. She’s not normally warm & fuzzy, but turns into a softie the day after Thanksgiving. It’s always been my favorite time of year.

We have two traditions that we keep going strong every year. We decorate the tree the day after Thanksgiving, and we open up presents EARLY Christmas morning while we’re still in our PJs.
