I was compensated for this review of Papa Murphy’s Pizza and their Father’s Day giveaway. All opinions and statements remain 100% my own. #DadMoments #EGGhead4Life #AdOne thing we like to do as a family especially during the hot summer months is to grill our meals outdoors. With temperatures where we live hitting the 100’s during summer days, we are always doing our best to cut back on making heat in the house but also not subjecting ourselves to eating out. The hot weather however does make for great nights and enjoying dinner around our fire pit table and enjoying a meal together is great.
One thing that makes for a great day is a great meal. While it is nice that our kids are finally older, especially our youngest and it does allow us to eat out once in a while. Our youngest used to make it difficult eating out by throwing a fit, so eating home makes it so much easier, but requires a lot more work. The reality is to weight the costs and for a family of 5, living in Southern California means we have to budget smartly.
The great thing about being in the 21st century is how easy it has become to eat at home with less work. It is easy these days to place an order and finish it at home. I have started to perfect my skills in grilling to make more than just meats. With it being so hot these days, an easy way to save money on AC is to cook outside. With a take and bake pizza it’s easy to enjoy a fresh pizza at home with the family.
While it’s nice to have the convenience of eat out in a restaurant, compare the bills of eating in vs eating out. Plus, with kids, they learn a lot being around while dinner is prepared and even helping prepare themselves. One other great thing I like doing with my kids is preparing meals, so it all works in my favor.
Being born and living in Oregon for half my life, one place that I remember, my mother especially loved was Papa Murphy’s Pizza. Check out a little about Papa Murphy’s history to learn more about the long standing history of this pizza chain.
My mother lived on the Oregon coast and it was a block away and made it easy to feed everyone without the prep and clean up. Living here in Southern California I have one down the street in my city of Murrieta, CA (also Temecula, CA and Menifee, CA). Even my oldest remembers them from Oregon.
Papa Murphy’s Pizza is an easy way to feed the entire family with a food we all love, pizza! Plus, I love anything I can grill and its also easy order online and pick up and bring home. If you haven’t had grilled pizza, you are missing out. It’s easy and just turns out better than the oven. Its best to make sure you have some kind of temperature gauge but its like baking with an oven.
Whats great about using the grill is its easy to vary the temp create different cooking results. I like my Hawaiian pizza softer while my middle child like her cheese pizza with a crispier crust. Papa Murphy’s uses quality ingredients and is simple and delicious take and bake pizza. This Father’s Day it’s all about creating moments with my girls, special moments like eating our favorite meal together mean so much.
