For my kids there’s a few dinners that I know everyone is going to enjoy. Tacos is one of our daily favorites and we eat different variations every week. When I think of taco dinners on a weeknight I know everyone will smile and leave the table full, and it’s these mealtime moments that I enjoy creating with our kids.

Signature Kitchens Foods products

We want to give our family the best quality food but also stay within our family budget. Shopping at Vons and Albertsons I know that we can find everything we need for our family. From lunch box staples, to everyday items like milk and paper towels the Signature line, available exclusively at Vons, includes more than 4,000 items.  From coffee to juice, soup to cereal, fresh produce to fried chicken, and delicious prepared foods to trusted home staples – all with a 100% money back guarantee.

Kid friendly tacos

For our family this means easily finding everything we need for our favorite weeknight dinner, tacos. Using simple ingriedients like fire roasted tomatoes can add a lot of flavor to your meals, for me it’s just an extra way I like to sneak in extra vegetables.

Add some well seasoned beef and black beans and you have a delicious taco. It’s really simple if you like a hard crunchy taco shell to fry your own.

My kids are busy, and by busy I mean after they come home form school mom’s taxi peels out of the driveway to take them to their various after school activities. We make it a priority to come together at the dinner table and it’s even better when I don’t have to make a complicated dinner to please everyone.

Albertsons wants to invite shoppers to join in the conversation by sharing your own Signature stories, photos and videos online using #MySignatureMoments.

What are some of your family’s favorite weeknight meals?

I think it is important – even with our busy schedules – to have family dinners. Tacos are one of our go to meals because they are quick, easy and all of my boys love them. I am glad I am not the only mom peeling out of the driveway for my taxi driver duties!

Three nights a week my kids have some sort of practice and we don’t get home until after 7pm. The crock pot is my savior. It’s ready when we get home and I make sure to use the liners so I don’t have to scrub it clean, just wash it normally.

I do most of my shopping at Safeway (the Von’s equivalent in my area). I love the high quality of their meat and produce.

  45. Jeanette says

It’s funny that I read this today because the night before last we cannot think of anything to eat so we came up with tacos because it is so easy. We never use guacamole that we should because it looks delicious.
