How Pregnancy Affects Your Vision

You are here: Home / Healthy Family Lifestyle / How Pregnancy Affects Your Vision

Healthy Family Lifestyle

I remember when I was pregnant how many changes my body went through. With my first pregnancy I was very young and everything was so new, I didn’t notice a lot of changes or just brushed them off as not really affecting me.

Through my second and third pregnancies I noticed right away differences. Things like swelling, and teeth sensitivity and also changes in my vision. It’s important that during pregnancy you stay hydrated, most often we’re not drinking enough water so it’s even more important to stay hydrated while pregnant. I didn’t know that your eyes are very sensitive to changes in your body so if you’re experiencing dry eyes it could be the changes your body is going through. I also experienced swollen eyelids from water retention, everything with my second pregnancy seemed to swell up.

Vision Direct is offering tips for keeping your eyes healthy and everything you need to know about eye health.
