We are spending more and more time outside with the weather so nice here in California – we just can’t help it. With all that time outside running after our girls I know my allergies are flaring up. We are happy to partner with Breathe Right® nasal strips and GSK Consumer Healthcare on this post.
Our days are filled with schedules, activities and deadlines. As parents we don’t do a whole lot for ourselves, but what we enjoy doing is spending time together as a family. Most of our weekend adventures involve us spending time outdoors. We play hard but we also know how important it is for us to get a good night’s sleep. Many people don’t know that allergies can affect your breathing and, like us, many parents aren’t getting the sleep they need at night.
We were happy to share more in this video –
Thanks to my allergies I have become a mouth breather, and even worse, a snorer. This is not only unfortunate for my husband but other Americans too! In a recent survey by the Breathe Right® brand, 59 percent of respondents said they sleep next to a mouth breather and 47 percent believe it impacts their ability to get a good night’s sleep. When I have trouble breathing at night, I know that I need to reach for Breathe Right®. It opens my nasal passages and allows us to get a more peaceful night’s sleep. Personally, I like the Breathe Right® lavender scented nasal strips. They smell great and have a calming lavender scent. It also instantly starts to relieve my nasal congestion so I can get a more restful night’s sleep.
HOW DO BREATHE RIGHT® NASAL STRIPS WORK?
They seem simple, but Breathe Right® nasal strips have unique engineering that make them an effective tool for managing nighttime congestion and helping improve sleep.
Nasal strips are made of flexible, spring-like bands that fit right above the flare of the nostrils. They lift the sides of the nose and open the nasal passages.
This lifting action helps open sinus passages and makes it easier to breathe. The nasal strips provide relief for congestion due to colds, allergies, or a deviated septum and reduce snoring caused by nighttime nasal congestion.
When we get our nights right our days are even better!
You can visit the Breathe Right® website to find the right product for you. I like that they also make a kids product to relieve congestion in little noses.
