Our Easter 2016 – Keeping It Simple

Easter Ideas

We have been on spring break for the last week so we went into Easter fresh from our beach vacation. Friday we got home and Saturday we headed to the town park for a city Easter egg hunt. It was really fun and the girls all had fun going their turns. easter 2016Mia having never done a big egg hunt was kind of afraid of the crowd, but she left having fun so all in all it was a fun morning. Easter morning the girls woke up to their baskets, Brooklin standing over me at 5 AM “Mommy, the Easter bunny came. Can I have my basket?” Me just talking to the dark told her to just go back to bed for a little while but sure enough an hour later Mia was awake and they were trying to wake up Kaila. By 8 AM everyone was awake. easter 2016 We had breakfast and enjoyed an Easter egg hunt. Dinner we had a full spread at the table and everyone enjoyed the day together. The girls played Easter egg hunt all day. I suppose one day I will look back and miss these moments. Our girls so excited for the Easter bunny and non-stop egg hunts for days. The older I get the more I just want to cherish every moment because I know how fast they are going. mia easter
