We always have fun celebrating different holidays so Kai and I were so thrilled to head to our local P.F. Chang’s to celebrate the Chinese New Year.  We are happy to partner with P.F. Chang’s on this post and are happy to help them as they raise $100,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs of America to celebrate the holiday. pf changes chinese new yearWe both decided to try menu items from their Chinese New Year offerings. I got the butternut squash wantons and though they were just absolutely delicious. Kai got the noodles with beef and we ended our meal with a delicious mandarin cake.  The cake is delicious too and just perfect for this holiday celebration. This light orange sponge cake infused with a creamy vanilla sauce and topped with mint and fresh orange slices, is great for sharing too!

We both really enjoyed our meals and I would suggest the butternut squash wantons to anyone. Being a vegetarian it’s often hard going into resturants but it’s nice to have such a delicious and vegetarian friendly option for dinner.  For the meat lover there’s also a delicious Sichuan Chili-Garlic Chicken. Made with lightly crisped and thinly sliced chicken breast filets seasoned in a spicy chili-garlic glaze, topped with red chili peppers, garlic chives, and bean sprouts. PF-CHANGS-BUTTERNUT-SQUASH-DUMPLINGS-lg

Visit the P.F.Chang’s website for more information and to find a location near you. Remember that $1 for every Chinese New Year Menu item ordered during the month of February, will help grant wishes benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs.

Post your order with the #PFChangsWish hashtag and they will donate $1 for every post!
