The picture isn’t perfect in this post and it doesn’t have to be. See this year I am thankful for those non-perfect moments. Those days I spend with my family just being together. Whether we are baking cookies or going on a trip together.
We took this photo at Sea World. I should actually say Mia took this photo at Sea World. I gave my husband a heard time about bringing the selfie-stick but it was actually really fun to use. Mia and Brooklin had a great time taking photos and this was our last photo of the day at Sea World last week. Brooklin got to ride Manta for the first time, her first big roller coaster. I got to ride with her the first time, just seeing her face for the first time and then watching her squeal in delight just made my day.
My brother Walker came early this week so he was here for Thanksgiving. We went to Disneyland and Brooklin got to ride Screamin for the first time. A big moment for Brookie since she’s waited so long to ride it and every time she’s been just a little too short. Disneyland was busy but we still managed to have a great time. That’s the thing, it’s always a lot of work but when you look back we really had some great moments among all the chaotic living we do each day.
Our days aren’t perfect but they’re ours and I am so thankful for each of them.
