Being the mom of three girls it’s important for me to make each of my daughters feel unique and special. Our oldest daughter is ten, she’s really starting to show how much she is maturing. She has her own way of doing things and that’s okay, and I love seeing how she expresses her creativity. She has her own style too, she likes her hair down and straight. Nothing too fancy but simple and soft.
We got to do a little holiday shopping at Girls Dress Shop and she got to pick out her own holiday dress. Her pick was the Alannah Dress and it’s just like her, subtly sophisticated. It has a classic cut and lace details with a satin bow in front. It was easy to see that the dress made her feel look and feel great during our holiday family photos. 
We went on a weekend family trip to Malibu two weeks ago. Kai took the dress with her for our family photo shoot in the gardens at the Ronald Reagan Library. We got to walk through the gardens and explore the museum, outside there was plenty of green lawns to twirl around on. 
I know that being the oldest kid isn’t always easy. Having two little sisters means they’re always in your stuff and they often get most of the attention. I try to make sure to spend special moments with my daughter, be it getting ready for a holiday dance at school or shopping for the perfect dress. I hope that the moments we get to spend alone together are special. 
It’s wonderful to also see her special moments with her sisters and the bond they have together. It’s these moments that we spend together as a family that I hope each of them remember, especially the holiday memories we make this time of year. 
I could tell that in this dress she really felt great, it’s the perfect dress to make her look and feel great this holiday season. Her holiday wardrobe really sparkles in with the addition of this dress and I know with her holiday concert coming up that she will walk in feeling confidant and extraordinary!
