    Make up breakfast in a slow cooker overnight and prepare lunch boxes the night before as well.

    My best tip is to get everything you possibly can ready the night before. I usually set the table and make sure that backpacks are set right next to their seats at the table.

    Always try to prepares as much the night before. What will take a few minutes the night before might take longer in the morning when everything is rush rush.

    Routine. Routine. Routine. Consistency and routine are the best way to get through most things from school/work mornings to potty training to homework to housework. Having a set and consistent routine also helps to leave open time for creativity.

    My best tip is to allow for extra time. I already do what many moms do and prepare lunches and get clothes ready the night before. But, there always seems to be bumps that make my kids run behind.

    You can help make a morning less hectic by planning ahead the night before. Set out the next days clothes, pack lunches, set up the automatic coffee make setting. The more you get done the night before the less you have to do in the morning.

    Hi. You did a give-away last December for the Zum Zum Balance bike. I can not comment on that post, so I am leaving the comment I would have left there on this post instead…

    I’m curious if Shannon F. ever gother give-away prize for this bike. I also won the bike on a different blog which was also doing a give-away. They put me in contact with Zum Zum people to make arrangements for receiving the bike. After months and months of being promised the bike would be sent, I was finally ignored when writing to ask when to expect it. Does anyone know what has happened with this company? Have searched the internet and they seem to have gone off the grid. Web site isn’t even loading when I click on it from their facebook page. Strange. Wondering if anyone else knows anything.

    I prep as much as I can the night before. Lay out clothes for the next day, make sure their backpacks are loaded and where they belong. I do some lunch prep on the weekends, like chopping and portioning veggies/fruit so I can just grab them and throw them in.

    Organization is key. Homework is done and in the bookbag which is by the door. Clothes are laid out for the next morning and lunch is packed and in the fridge.

    Get things together the night before, lay out clothes for the next morning and anything that needs to go with you that day should either be by the door or in the car. I also try to pack lunch boxes the night before and just leave them in the fridge.

    Prep anything you can ahead of time… on the weekends, I usually make and freeze breakfast foods to make breakfast time easier. I make sure everything I can get done the night before is done – backpacks, lunches, etc.

    on the weekend or late evening I make up large batches of pancakes, waffles, and French toast and freeze them All they need to do is take some out zap them in the microwave and wala a hot and easy breakfast

    Some great advice I got when my kids were little is to get as much done as possible the night before. That way, there is no last minute scramble looking for stuff, or trying to figure out what to make for breakfast!
