Our kids are the most important things to us. As young parents, we have made it a priority to make sure our kids have the best. While things have not always been easy, and we have had our fair share of financial struggles, we have made the choice to be conscious of what we feed our kids.
With everything going on in the world and our country, we all have to be aware of what we are doing. What we consumer, how we spend our time, what we do for fun, prioritizing the important things in life is key to a healthy long-life. While I have not taken the best care of myself or made the best choices, I have come to realize that I can help my own children in ways I wished I could have been helped. Take food for instance, we make sure to cook and bake with our kids, to show them we care and also teach them about foods!
Josh Tetrick is Hampton Creek‘s CEO & Founder. He has been writing a list of letters to CEOs, Presidential Candidates, young adults, President Obama, but this time he decided to write a letter to his mom. It’s a heartfelt letter that shows how much he has appreciated his mother, and shows how much he has learned from her. Our children are an image of us, no matter the mistakes or choices we make for them.
Check out this video of her seeing it for the first time.
Here is the letter.
It is a simple and heartfelt letter. Basically it is everything we have learned ourselves as people and try to provide for our kids. We feed them their meals, provide healthy cooking, and use fresh produce every day. We have made the choice to make the effort. As a kid I was pushed to try veggies and fish, and to this day love them. I appreciate what my single aunt (the woman who raised me) did for me.
This is a partnered post with Hampton Creek to share this Heartfelt letter From a Son To His Mom.
