I am working with ZzzQuil to share my #TravelTipZzz, I am a compensated ambassador for Vicks® all opinions are my own.
We enjoy traveling and already this summer we’ve taken two big trips to the east coast. The hardest thing about traveling time zones is getting back to sleep. The week we spent in Florida was so much fun but we struggled getting to sleep while traveling. My husband and I spent time in Mexico last month and while sleeping with no kids on vacation was enough to keep us in bed in the morning we still struggled getting to sleep each night.
All too often sleep is the last thing we think about when we travel, we pack essentials like pajamas and toiletries but how often do we actually prepare for sleep while on vacation?
Sleeping away from home can still be a dream. I pack ZzzQuil™, the non-habit forming sleep aid designed to help with occasional sleeplessness, to ensure that a change in environment does not interrupt my sleep cycle. Other essentials include a sleep mask, ear plugs, a travel pillow and a mini sound machine. Other essentials are hair ties (you can never have enough) and also a soothing aromatherapy oil. I like to add a little to my pillow, makes it feel a little more like home and it just makes any hotel room smell great!
There’s nothing more beautiful than a full nights sleep. Whether I’m on vacation or struggle to make it all happen right at home ZzzQuil is there to help if you need it. So this summer as we vacation I know I’m going to sleep better and spend more moments enjoying time together as a family. Who’s to say that you need a vacation from your vacation, why not spend more moments enjoying vacation and waking up fully rested is where it all begins.

Great tips! I have never tried this before, and had no clue it works well for this! Thanks for sharing.
I never thought of this as an idea to get a good nights sleep, but glad it works! I should have used it when I traveled to Vermont for the weekend, did not sleep well at all.
I never thought of bringing this with me but it is a good idea. I have a hard time sleeping away from home.
I always get this for my husband. He needs all the help he can get!
I feel like we do SO much when we are away, that I fall asleep like a log! I LOVE traveling with an eye mask, though. Sometimes the light is too much on the plane or in the car.
I don’t travel that often but when I do, I always carry my ZZZquil. That stuff really works! I also like to bring my Ipod which has a lot of relaxation music on it. That helps me when I am just too excited to wind down.
Great list! How funny, ear plugs are also very important for me!
The idea of traveling with a sound machine is such a good one! It’s such a great way to block out those unfamiliar noises of a new city/town/place!
I dare not travel without ZzzQuil. It’s saved me plenty of nights when my mind just won’t shut down and allow me to fall asleep.
