One thing we do a lot of is traveling, so whether it’s in the car between after school activities or taking another memory making trip we snack wherever we go. Keeping around delicious snacks that my kids actually want to eat is a must. We often use Horizon Organic products in our home including milk, cheese, butter and even eggs plus a wide variety of their new snack products.
Among a favorite from our youngest is the new Horizon Super Squeeze pouch which is a creamy blend of milk and real fruit. Easy to take anywhere on the go and perfect for an easy snack time, plus she really enjoys them!
One thing I have learned juggling three kids in school is to make lunch boxes easy and fun.
Using the new Horizon Snack Grahams and cheese the main dish for this simple lunch idea is a cheese quesadilla with carrot fence and jumping cows.
The lunch also included some bell pepper stars and little Cow Cheddar Cheese Crackers. Serve with cold Horizon Organic Vanilla or Strawberry Milk and you have a simple lunch that my Kindergartner can’t get enough of!
We used a small skewer to make a hole in the carrot and held it together with angel hair pasta through the center. It created the perfect little fence and a crunchy little snack idea.
