Kelloggs Raisin Bran Special K CerealsRise and shine! Morning can be chaotic around here and as a mom I only want the best for my children as they ride and shine each morning. A healthy and filling breakfast is where each big day starts and it’s where we all come together at the start of our day.

It’s important to start any day with a nutritious breakfast full of protein and grains, like Kellogg’s Frosted Mini Wheats, Special K or Raisin Bran cereal and milk is a great way to start the day. Kelloggs Raisin Bran SpecialK

Giving our children plenty of nutritious and delicious options is an easy way to keep them excited about breakfast. It also lets them mix it up so they don’t get bored with their options.

Kellogg’s Frosted Mini Wheats are always a big hit with my girls. I like that they’re great any time of day. Since one of our daughters dances full time after school it’s important for me to pack her healthy snacks that are also going to fuel her all throughout her big day. Kellogg’s Frosted Mini Wheats are perfect to throw in little bags and take on the go! Kelloggs Frosted MiniWheats (1)

Dr. Travis Stork’s Tips on Having a Successful Big Day

  • Lay out your clothes the night before to help streamline your morning routine.
  • Create a “must achieve” list for the morning to help yourself stop stressing about those tasks at night, leading to a more restful night’s sleep.
  • Plan out what to have for breakfast, and nothing is easier than setting out a bowl and spoon for a quick, nutritious and tasty bowl of cereal in the morning.
  • If you’re travelling or on-the-go, making sure to pack a nutritious snack (like a baggie of cereal) in your bag to help you avoid hitting the mid-morning lull and picking something unhealthy.Kelloggs Raisin Bran MiniWheats (4)

Being prepared the night before has been one of our biggest successes to having a successful big day tomorrow. Things like picking out clothes and packing school lunches are extremely helpful for our girls. I’d also like to add having socks and shoes ready to go is also very helpful. I don’t know how many times we’ve gone back and fourth trying to find shoes and socks!  It’s staying prepared and ready for anything that helps us all have a more successful big day!

I try to do as much as I can the night before, that way the morning is easier.

A nice relaxing shower (or bath), plenty of sleep, and making sure things are ready to go like lunch, clothes, shoes, etc. Eliminate as much stress as possible is what we try to do. So if my oldest has a big test or something, then I make sure the morning is smooth and easy for him.

My kids always like to have their lunches packed in the morning. They were pretty slow about packing themselves so it gave them a head start!

Although my kids are not big fans of cereal, I have a box in the pantry for whenever they decide they want some! I love how healthy it is compared to others that seem to be pure sugar.

My family loves Kellogg’s products. Raisin Brand is one of my favorites and Frosted Mini Wheats are my youngest daughters favorite. They have so many great kinds. We love eating them for breakfast.

I love her shirt! Everyone needs a shirt like that. My kids love cereal (thank goodness!). I won’t give them sugary cereal, especially in the mornings. So I’m glad there is healthy cereal that’s delicious too.

As often as possible, we get things ready the night before. This helps us get out the door a bit earlier than it would otherwise.
