Our Family Journal Uncategorized

brooklin solo danceBrooklin started dance when we were in Oregon. At the time she was head over heels for gymnastics and I was just hoping she would learn a little grace and patience. A year ago we moved to California and not long after she started dance. For the past year she’s been working towards the recital. Learning technique and learning routines. Mia started ballet 9 months ago so both her and Brooklin performed in the dance recital.

First show she went on stage and looked around. She was expecting to see us sitting in the same seats as rehearsal so she got scared, also having just woken up for her nap wasn’t any help at all. The second show she went on stage and had a great time! She behaved so well while we were busy trying to get her sister ready.

Mia did so good tonight!

Brooklin Dance Recital –

Brooklin started dancing 13 hours a week 6 months ago and recently started private lessons where she’s learning her own solo. If anything this recital solidified the fact that she loves to dance and being on stage was just loads of fun. She started the show with Lydia’s Ballet from Ballet 1. lydia's ballet ballet 1 Next up was Brooklin’s solo – Party in the USA

Brooklin had a few special parts. brooklin lyrical 1lyrical 1

Next Up for Brooklin was Party Rockers the routine for her first hip hop class. She took this class with her favorite teacher and she says this is her favorite routine. She is the center to this dance. brooklin hip hop

She also said this was her favorite costume. It had the least amount of sequins and just a tank and shorts it was pretty comfortable. brooklin on stagebrooklin hip hop

Next up was a theatrical ballet number to Do You Want To Build A Snowman? brooklin ballet
