I am part of the PTPA Brand Ambassador Program with Kobo and I received Compensation as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog are my own.
I don’t get to do a lot of reading but in the next year my goal is to read more and the free Kobo App is making it easier than ever to find new books and easily read on the go when I can. Reading is very relaxing and it’s a great way to end the day and this holiday season I am trying to relax more by doing more of my favorite things like reading.
Our children are also big readers so it’s important that I update our libraries with fresh content to keep our oldest engaged and excited about reading. She loves reading so easily having access to new books is a must for our digital family. The Kobo App is a free and easy way to access those new books. It also allows me to read when I can and on my own time. That means while waiting for the girls at school or even at the dance studio.
It also means I have easy access to top rated books and I can easily update our children’s libraries without having to leave home! Since Kobo also features a recommendation list it’s easy to find great new titles the whole family will enjoy.

Cool. I’d never heard of the Kobo app before. I download books from Amazon to Kindle a lot.
Gone Girl and The Fault In Our Stars are definitely top sellers in 2014. I need to get ahold of TFIOS heard it was great!
I have gone girl on my Kindle just waiting for me! I gotta finish the book I am reading first!
I read all the time. I saw a couple I need to read soon.
My daughter has a Kobo and she loves it. She even has the app on her tablet so she can read her books anywhere.
I like shopping on Amazon and Kindles are great. I started with the very first Nook ever made and then the following year upgraded to the iPad3. I love the Kobo app more than I like the other stores apps.
These all sound like great books. My son and I read the Divergent series. I will have to check some of these others out.
Reading more is on my New Year’s resolution list. I have the best intentions and then get so busy.
The Goldfinch sounds so intriguing. It is nice to have books accessible to read no matter where you are. Thanks for the update on the Kobo App.
My husband is an avid reader, so he would love this. I will have to get it for him.
