I made the mistake of forgetting batteries for years with my kids so now that I have grandkids, I always make sure I have them on hand. I got the two youngest grandkids battery operated alarm clocks for Christmas.

It seems like I am always forgetting batteries, especially when I give electronic gifts for birthdays. This happened just a month ago. My son wants a remote control car and my daughter wants a baby doll this year.

I don’t recall any major events of forgetting batteries, but I’m not much on electronics. My husband, however, is obsessed & ensures that he doesn’t ever run out of batteries. He stocks up at Sam’s Club or if he sees them on sale anywhere. We have several baskets in a cabinet with various sized batteries just in case something runs out or if we purchase something new & it is “batteries not included.” Our 8-month-old doesn’t have a very long Christmas list, however, my husband has lots of toys on his list 🙂

Yes, I forgot to buy batteries for a bunch of Thomas trackmaster trains that we gave my grandsons last year. They got so upset and had a huge meltdown because they wouldn’t work. I felt horrible! On their list this year is Zoomer the Dino!

I can honestly say I’ve always remembered batteries. Some other things vital to Christmas, like cookies… now I’ve forgotten those.

Yes, I forgot batteries when I gave my niece & nephew gifts a couple of years ago for Christmas. They wanted to play with the new toys, however I didn’t supply the batteries and they had none on hand. I felt really bad.
At home, I make sure to always have a supply of batteries, especially for kids toys.
My kids are asking for remote helicopter and car, leap pad tablet, furreal pet and walkie talkies.

I forgot batteries for the wii remotes. My son was devastated. Thank goodness my parents live close and they are always prepared. My daughter wants an Elsa doll. My son wants some Xbox game that I haven’t found yet

I never forget the batteries! We go through a lot of them in our house so I buy them at Sam’s Club and keep a good reserve of them. We are expecting quite the winter and I always make sure I have lots of them in case of power outages, too.

I do not know what the kids want for Christmas. It’s going to be a low-key Christmas at our house. Maybe a gift for each of them, but the rest is going to be about doing things together and feeding them great stuff!

I have forgotten batteries far too many times. The first time was for a ride on horse for my daughter. This year the kids seem to want musical items the most.

I forgot to buy batteries for my daughter’s dollhouse.

My daughter would like the Lalaloopsy diaper surprise doll, the Innotab Max from Vtech, and a Frozen Elsa doll.

I forgot batteries last Christmas when I bought my nephew a portable karaoke machine – and had to frantically dig up some C batteries when he opened it and wanted to try it out immediately!
