That means it’s a product I can use with my healthy diet and truly feel good about it. Dinner is one of our most important meals. We come together as a family and enjoy spending time at the table. Pasta night is always a big hit so we wanted to show off one of our favorite dinner recipes.
Buttery Pasta Primavera With Chicken
- 3 cups penne pasta
- 1/4 cup I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® Spread
- 4 cups assorted vegetables, (cut asparagus, broccoli florets and/or chopped red bell pepper)
- 2 large cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 grilled chicken beast
I enjoy letting my children be involved with meals. Chopping vegetables is fun and easy and it’s a great way to create healthy habits in the kitchen. I started by cooking the penne in lightly salted water according to package directions.
Then you will want to I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® Spread over medium-high heat in large nonstick skillet and cook vegetables and add the garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
Add the chicken stock and allow it to cook uncovered for another 3-5 minutes. Add penne and toss to coat. Just before serving stir in basil and sprinkle with cheese. It’s a simple dish that’s packed full of flavor.
I like to serve it with chopped grilled chicken breasts. It’s a favorite for the whole family!
