Fun Foods for Families

I have been selected by Tap Influence to be a spokesperson for Marie Callender’s While I have been compensated for my time, my opinions are my own.

My dad served in the military almost 40 years ago, his stay wasn’t very long but I wasn’t surprised when my little brother told us that he too would be joining the military. My brother Walker is a U. S. Airman stationed here in California with the United States Air Force. He’s always had a passion for learning new things and that’s exactly what he has gotten to do serving our country. I am so proud of my baby brother and no matter what our future holds I know he is strong and dedicated to doing his job.

Marie Callenders Support Our Troops USO (1)

Recently Marie Callender’s has launched the Comforts from Home Project which is helping to bring the comforts of home to deployed U.S. military members. Right now on every Marie Callender’s product you can redeem a code and every code is donation to the USO program.

The program is designed to help to help boost the moral and bring the comforts of home to troops stationed all around the world. They give soldiers kits filled with every day necessities like games, nooks and comforts from home. Often times our military serving overseas live in remote places so these kits can bring joy and often help transform the places they are living.

We hop you will join in as Marie Callender’s and the USO and an army of experts from food, home and travel provide the comforts of home as only Marie Callender’s can, in a truly heartwarming homecoming you’ll always remember in “A Hero’s Welcome”.

Marie Callender’s and the USO will welcome one special soldier back to their family in a national television event airing on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2014. The one-hour TV special will air across a range of your favorite networks including HGTV, Food Network, Cooking Channel, Travel Channel, DIY Channel, and Great American County.
