We love our pets but we are a busy family and we like to travel. Traveling especially during the holidays is a must for many families and that doesn’t always mean our furry pets can come along for the trip. How do you find someone who is going to watch your pets? Personally I’m not a big fan of boarding our pets I would much rather they stay at their own home and be taken care of.

BrunoWe also have a large dog and I want to be sure that we have someone who can handle him and has prior experience with big dogs. Not that he’s scary but often times people who are not used to large dogs can become intimidated by Bruno’s size. His size would also add up in fees and charges at a boarding place for pets so it’s important for me as a pet owner that he’s comfortable and that I’m not paying a fortune either!

Dog-Vacay-logoThat’s when you need a DogVacay, it’s a service that allows you to find a local pet sitter right in your area. That means you can leave home knowing that your pets are safe and well taken care of.

How it works:

  • Simply type in your zip code and find a PAWesome sitter in your neighborhood.
  • Schedule a meet ‘n greet to meet your Host, then book your pup’s Vacay and pay online.
  • You can now travel knowing your pup is having the time of his life in a loving home with one on one attention!
  • Receive photo “pup” dates showing how much fun your pup is having, and rest assured knowing each Vacay is covered with their free pet insurance and 24/7 customer care.

Do you love pets? Don’t mind watching over your neighbors dog? You can easily become a host and watch pets right in your area.

Are your pets ready for you leaving for the holidays?
