My first experience with essential oils came years in a public restroom at a road stop. An elderly woman was applying peppermint oil to a very sick passenger in the restroom. The strong scent of peppermint filled the bathroom and I saw her start to feel better.
All my mom friends are raving about their favorite essential oils and I feel like I’m just starting to learn about them. I’m partnering with Essential Oil Expert and learning so much about essential oil basics and common uses for essential oils.
Essential oils are natural aromatic compounds found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants. They can be both beautifully and powerfully fragrant. If you have ever enjoyed the gift of a rose, a walk by a field of lavender, or the smell of fresh cut mint, you have experienced the aromatic qualities of essential oils. In addition to giving plants their distinctive smells, essential oils provide plants with protection against predators and disease and play a role in plant pollination.
I like the possible health benefits form essential oils and think they also smell incredible. With finding so many suggestions when looking for natural remedies and ways to help my children, essential oils are always recommended from a majority of other moms it seems these days. It is always good to find something that can be beneficial without having anything harmful. doTerra oils are so pure they can even be drank, you may just have a very fresh smelling mouth, a clean one too.
