Last week our girls headed back to school which means it’s time to pack lunches. As a mom I want my girls to have healthy and filling lunches and I often turn to brands that I know I can trust. Nature’s Path is one of those brands that moms can feel great about.
With Natures Path Envirokidz I can not only make sure my girls get a healthy breakfast cereal but that they’re snacks and lunches are just as fun and nutritious!
Right now when you buy EnviroKidz products you can enter to win a trip for your family to Costa Rica! That means that our favorite healthy snacks are also a chance to win!
Schools out and your kiddos are hungry. Do you have healthy snacks ready to go? I have a few tips I wanted to share that help our family snack healthy and stay healthy too.
- Plan Meals – Make sure your family is eating healthy and whole meals. If a little belly is full it will be less likely to want a snack later on.
- Measure It Out – Kiddos often have an easy way of eating too much so it’s important that you measure out snacks for them. If dinner is in an hour and ballet class just ended I know my daughter will need a light snack to tie her over. Too big of a snack will spoil her appetite for dinner.
- Be Prepared – Once you have measured it out keep healthy snacks on hand and easy for your children to reach. I keep small bags with carrots and grapes in the fridge along with EnviroKidz Crispy Rice Bars in a jar on the counter.
Right now EnviroKidz is sending three lucky families on an EnviroTrip to Costa Rica to help save the sea turtles at SEE Turtles. The non-profit wildlife conservation travel operator in the beautiful OSA peninsula. Three lucky winners and their families (three groups of 4 people) will get an all-expense paid trip to Costa Rica in March 2015.
You will get to spend three days working with Costa Rican organization Latin American Sea Turtles to catch endangered green and hawksbill sea turtles in the Golfo Dulce, a beautiful gulf located alongside the Osa Peninsula. Then you will help researchers set out nets, measure the turtles, and collect important data before releasing them back to the water. In addition, the winners will participate in a mangrove restoration project, helping to plant two species of mangrove trees that are critical to turtles and other wildlife of the Gulf. Finally, the winners will visit a chocolate farm to see how the world’s favorite treat is made!
It’s a truly incredible opportunity to really get to see and impact the world and you can enter for your family to win now! Be sure to like EnviroKidz on Facebook to get started!

I try to have lots of fruits and veggies already cut up, so the kids can have a quick and healthy snack when needed.
Portion control is key. I do not want to deny my grandkids, but rather teach them that everything is OK in moderation.
My daughter depended on these snacks when she has an allergy! They are really healthy, and come in great flavors!
I love healthy snacks for my kids and this sound yummy; my kids love to snack but I will not bring a lot of Junk food into the house, thanks for sharing and I will check these out, totally sound like I would like to have them in my home
Snacks are what keeps my kids moving! I love to find healthy snacks!
I know my kids would like these snacks. They ask for snacks to often that I try to give them healthy ones.
I love snacks. Keeping them where they are easily reached for little ones is a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
I’m already learning the importance of feeding my toddler healthy snacks. These are a great option!
My kids love handy little grab N go snacks like this!
These would be great to pack in backpacks for after school activities!
we love this brand and all the different options they have. we are eating their cereal for breakfast this morning in fact!
I find that planning our meals really does help save us time and money! What a cute idea to cut sandwiches out with cookie cutters!
I totally agree about keeping kids’ snacks at hand and within reach. If they’re healthy, you don’t mind that they’re grabbing them.
I will have to get some of these snacks. They will be great to have on hand since all 3 of my girls will be in school this year.
We love Nature’s Path stuff at my house! It’s a huge hit!
Wow, what a great opportunity prize pack! I like to keep fresh fruit in the center of our dining table for after school munch attacks. We also love the Nature’s Path Crispy Rice Bars!
We always keep the healthy snacks low for kids to grab and the ‘every now and then’ snacks on the top shelf… ha! Thanks for the sweeps too
I love supporting products that give back! These do sound good and I just googled and found out I can get them at Walmart!!
I love this brand because they are organic and they are a much healthier alternative to other snack foods, great for on the go!
Great ideas! I don’t have a child in school yet, but I am coming up with snack ideas for my toddler after her baby sister gets here!
These Nature’s Path bars look tasty. I’m all about healthy AND tasty.
These look really good. I’m always on the lookout for delicious, healthy snacks for the kids.
What an adorable sandwich–what shape would you call that? Splat/Star? Very cute–my kids would love a lunch like this!
My mission this next week is to shop for school snacks, I need to look for these! Keeping them fuelled through the day is so important!
The main thing for our family is that we have to just NOT keep sweets in the house. If it’s there we WILL eat it but if we only have good options we have to eat well! I love Nature’s Path products!! So yummy!
Although I have a sweet tooth, I’m a big believer in providing healthy snacks for kids. I love the idea of making sure easy to reach, convenient and healthy snacks are accessible. This way kids don’t go for the junk when they want something quick to eat.
These sound perfect for my kids. I literally just got asked for an after-school snack. I am going to look for these next time I am out at the store.
i like how you have them in the glass jar. my kids wouldln’t be able to reach them however they would try to climb and hurt themselves !!! but it’s very pretty!
I think having controlled portions is very important. These snacks look so yummy!
I love snacks like this that are easy to grab and go! I will have to try these.
