Brooklin,

I can not believe it’s time for you to go back to school, and it’s off to Kindergarten you go! I have so many things I want you to know as you start your journey into life. Kindergarten is the start of your education and I hope you go into it as spirited as you do the rest of your life.

You always have something funny to say and there’s no doubt your spirit shines. I hope that you slow down enough to let others shine too. That you can lift them up and make them feel as special as you make me. I hope that you learn new things and have fun learning along the way. You love dance and art and all things girly. You are sassy and smart and my ray of sunshine!

I will send you in to school today. I will come back knowing you are not fully mine anymore. We will never be the same.

Be Kind Always,

Mommy

This is so sweet. Well written with lots of love. This would be awesome to stick inside there lunchbox too every once in a awhile or maybe before a big test or game after school. Great way to build there confidence.

Oh Kristin. I have a Kindergartener this year too. It is so strange letting them leave and go out on their own, isn’t it? I have such mixed emotions about it. Good luck to you guys on a good year!
