Great places for free summer concerts in Ventura County including the cities of Camarillo, Oxnard and Ventura.
Now through September 6, the Camarillo Arts Council will holds live concerts at Constitution Park on select Saturdays. Music to include a Fab Four tribute August 9, a tribute to the music of 1964 on August 23 and Raymond Michael as Elvis on September 6.
The Collection at RiverPark in Oxnard will host its 2nd Annual Rock The Collection Summer Concert series. Held on Saturdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. through August 23. Included is L.A. Vation, a U2 tribute band playing August 2, and Seedless, a progressive rock/reggae band will be playing August 16. Other tribute bands will be in the mix. Food will be plenty from one of the RiverPark’s dozen restaurants including Toby Keith’s I Love this Bar & Grill, Lazy Dog, Famous Dave’s BBQ and Five Guys Burgers and Fries and enjoy the sounds.
Peninsula Park at the Channel Islands Harbor in Oxnard is a great park that lines the harbor which is amazing for any maritime lover. And for music lovers now through August 31, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m concerts will be going on featuring rock, R&B, jazz, Latin, pop and country.
Ventura Harbor Village is great for taking a stroll, eating at the harbor side restaurant, playing in the arcade, riding the carousel or cruising the harbor on your own paddle or electric boat, so much is offer. And the village on weekends going on through August will be hopping with steels drum performances on Saturdays, and surf, reggae and blues on Sundays. Concerts are 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. through August 31.
