The kiddos are just about out form school and the busy summer months are going to start. That means more time outdoor with my family and less time that I want to spend cleaning up. That’s why in our kitchen we use Finish® Power & Free™ products make kitchen cleanup easy! As a mom I can also feel good about the products because they use less harsh chemicals which means my family is happy and healthy!

With busy summer days bring hungry kiddos. On really busy days I throw together dinner which can often be quite the mess. One of our family favorites is lasagna but I always like to put a fun spin on things to keep my girls having fun!

Easy Weeknight Lasagna Bake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups organic pasta
  • 1 cup Ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 mild sausage
  • fresh basil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 jar of your favorite organic pasta sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Some of our favorite dishes are simple things and this recipe is simple. I cooked the sausage with fresh basil and the crushed garlic cloves. I layered a baking pan with non-stick spray and the ricotta cheese.

While you cook your pasta but make sure it’s still slightly under cooked since it’s going to bake in the oven. While your pasta cooks add your spaghetti sauce to the sausage and allow those flavors t come together on a low heat.

Once your pasta is done you will want to finish layering the lasagna bake. Add the pasta over the ricotta cheese and put your sauce on top.

My girls enjoy being involved in the kitchen so snapped fresh green beans is a chore they happily take. I like to quickly blanch them and saute in a little butter and fresh chopped garlic. They also make the perfect side to the lasagna bake.

This recipe looks easy as well as delicious. I will only use Finish Dishwashing Detergent as all of the other brands just don’t stand up to Finish.
