kaila easter 2012Easter is only a few days away and we are busy preparing to spend time with family and friends. One thing you will always see in our home is coffee. Whether it’s a holiday or a normal weekday you will find International Delight in our fridge and it’s great for those family gatherings because it easily adds flavor to any cup of coffee!

This week we’ve been busy baking desserts for Easter and to celebrate Easter we’ve come up with a flavorful International Delight Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse. Filled inside of a mini pie crust and you have a delicious dessert to serve to your guests this Easter.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of instant chocolate mousse
  • 1 package of premade pie dough
  • 1 cup of International Delight Hazelnut
  • shredded coconut
  • green food coloring
  • jelly beans

I started first by making the mousse in my stand mixer. Instead off milk I used the International Delight Hazelnut Creamer. I also made the pie dough i the oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Once the pie shells are cooled and your mousse is ready add it to a piping bag. You could easily not use a piping bag but you could also be more decorative with this.

Top the pies with the green coconut and jelly beans. Refrigerate for half an hour before serving.
