Hotdog Hearts (3)

It’s almost Valentine’s Day so lets have a little fun with the kiddos and serve up some heart shaped lunch! I love simple foods and yet they don’t have to be simple at all.

One of our favorite brands Applegate makes some of our favorite hotdogs so this week we’re serving up these adorable heart dogs!

Hotdog Hearts (2)

All you need is hot dogs and your favorite crescent roll dough.

Hotdog Hearts (4)

Cut your uncooked hot dogs into long quarters and place into your crescent roll dough. Fold over the dough and cut off the extra dough.

Bake at 350 degrees for 16 minutes and you have the perfect heart shaped lunch or easy dinner idea!

Hotdog Hearts (3)

I hope this Valentine’s Day if you’re looking for a simple food idea for your kiddos you consider making heart dogs!
