Being a mom is one of the most tiring, selfless, most loving and most rewarding experiences of my life. In fact, my children are my life! As our family has grown and my children have gotten older I have found that I need time to myself too. That even though they need me, I also need to reward myself with activities that make me happy.
I love to dance and enjoy running. You’ll often find me every week on the dance floor for zumba or at the gym working out. It’s that time that allows me to enjoy some stress relieving moments to myself.
The truth is motherhood has left me with many scares, the skin on my stomach will attest to that.
Motherhood has also changed the way I exercise, there’s nothing worse than a little light bladder leakage during dance. It’s the ugly truth that I have to be more mindful of my body now and yes even bathroom breaks too. Ladies lets finally face it, motherhood changes our bladders.
As a runner there’s nothing worse than rounding mile 4 and realizing that you have to race to a restroom.
Products like Poise feature a thin and flexible design that moves with your body and offers comfortable protection if leakage happens to occur. Poise pads also quickly lock away wetness and absorbs odor. So you can finish that run or never stop dancing because they are three times drier than the leading period-only liners.
I stopped into my local Walgreen’s store to find these ultra light Poise liners. There are 5 different absorbencies so you can find the right one for you! Never worry again about a little light bladder leakage while exercising.

This is so true. Having kids really does mess with your bladder. I am the one that knows where every bathroom is located. my daughter laughs at me and calls me potty pants. I have been using Poise pads for a while and they are great.
There really isn’t anything more embarrassing than having a little leakage! It happens to me all the time if I laugh too hard and I had my daughters 30+ years ago!
This third pregnancy has absolutely taken a toll on my bladder (something my husband hates to hear me talk about LOL) and I know it will never be the same. I’m glad there are thin and discrete products like Poise!
oh this was me last week! Mile 4 and I had to pee so I had to go home!
