Game Day Pep-Corn with REESE’S® Minis recipe

It’s that time of year, it’s game time!!  REESE’S® brand is the Official Candy Partner of NCAA® Football and they have all kinds of free downloadable features available on scorewithreeses.com that you should check out!

My favorite game day moments happen to be in the kitchen. I enjoy cooking and game day snacks are really fun to make! Using REESE’S® Minis I remade their game day pep-corn recipe! This tasty treat really is a great game day snack!!

Game Day Pep-Corn with REESE’S® Minis

INGREDIENTS
8 cups Clover Valley® popped popcorn
3/4 cup Clover Valley® Party peanuts, divided
1-1/3 cups (8-oz. pkg.) REESE’S® Minis, divided

INSTRUCTIONS
1.) Line tray or cookie sheet with wax paper or foil. Spread popcorn and 1/2 cup peanuts on prepared tray.
2.) Cut 1 cup REESE’S® Minis into halves; place in medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 1 minute; stir vigorously. If necessary, microwave at MEDIUM an additional 15 seconds at a time, stirring after each heating, until candy is melted and mixture is blended when stirred.
3.) Drizzle over popcorn and nut mixture. Refrigerate 30 minutes or until coating is firm. Make individual servings and top with remaining 1/4 cup peanuts and remaining 1/3 cup REESE’S® Minis.

Makes about 8-1/2 cups of popcorn.
* Popcorn is best eaten the same day as prepared and shortly after removing from refrigerator.

game day pep corn

This simple snack idea only take 30 minutes to create and also, it only requires three super affordable ingredients. REESE’S®, popcorn, and peanuts!! I used some caramel sauce and you could easily make a big batch for a great price!

Do you watch NCAA Football? Whata re you snacking on this football season?

This puts three of my favorite munchies together. Although it does make it very decadent.
