To My Daughter On The First Day Of Third Grade

Our Family Journal Uncategorized

Kaila,

Today you start third grade. You woke up early and quickly got dressed. When you showed up in the doorway of my bedroom with a big smile on your face I could see how happy you were to start the day. Your new teacher is kind and smart, I know you will quickly enjoy her class and be challenged learning.

I hope as you start the new year you know how proud we are of you. You are so smart and always eager to learn. You enjoy reading and math and science. I hope that I have prepared you enough to stay organized and most of all patient. You’ll need patience this year as you learn new things and yes, have even more homework. I hope you know that you are capable of everything this world has to offer you and I hope that you always have a dream and work towards it. I hope that as you grow over the next year you also begin to know how great you are.

I can’t believe we are here already. Third grade!

I love you, be kind always.

Mommy

So adorable! Kaila is off to a good start for sure! This is so sweet, reminded me to do the same to my own child, thanks!

Your daughter is lovely and I can just see on her face how happy she is! I hope that she will always have that love for school and the eagerness to learn. With you at her back I have no doubt that she has all the love and support she needs!

This is the most beautiful lines I have ever heard from a mom to a daughter! Kaila is sure lucky to have a loving mom!
