Celebrating holidays is one of my favorite things to do. We go all out for Halloween, my house this year will have even more scary decor outside and inside a there are Halloween touches in every room. Each year for Halloween I make a number of treats for my children’s classrooms but we also plan on having a Halloween party this year.
Growing up my mom did everything for our parties and our Halloween party was a big monster bash! This fun craft reminds me of something we would have done for our parties growing up and since it’s incredibly easy I thought I’d share!
Candy Monster Costumes Craft
- On colored construction paper create 4 sides for folding over.
- Draw monster faces and add googly eyes.
- cut out monster candy bar costumes and fit over candy bar. (I used an organic granola bar)
- Fold over sides. Use a glue dot, double sides tape or glue to fasten the two sides together.
It’s so easy and you an create a number of costumes and even come up with some of your own ideas! I’ve even thrown these in my kiddos lunch boxes with granola bars, it’s so cute and all their friends at lunch love them!
these would make great party favors for our halloween party!
